PERFECT! I truly hope this is real. This would make such a good movie. Logan would make the perfect Charlie and Emma would make a wonderful Sam (I’m assuming?).

THE MOVIE IS REALLY HAPPENING….
PERKS IS BEING MADE INTO A MOVIE?!
I’m not sure if I should be super excited or extremely disgusted…Emma Watson and Logan Lerman?! For some reason I had always hoped that the movie would be more low budget, with unknown actors taking on to portray Charlie and Sam and Patrick and the rest of the characters, I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s cause I always hoped that Charlie’s face/image would always be kept so obscure, with no description of his facial features to even give the reader a hint to what he really looked like.
I guess overall I’m anticipating how the movie will be/what will happen with filming, but I’m going to keep my expectations low. Not to be a pessimist, but just so that I won’t be disappointed. This is one book that I know for sure that the movie will not be able to even come close to its brilliance, even if the own author Stephen Chobsky is writing the script.
