Everything seems to be falling into place, but I still have some problems to attend to….alskdjfaiofadlkfajweiofajdlkajiofowjfa stressed yet excited beyond belief.

Day 11: A movie that changed your outlook on something
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind really really really helped me to cherish my memories and think of my actions towards those around me way more carefully. It’s such a clever movie and so heartbreaking at the same time. It really helped me finally and completely get over so many past relationships that I had with people, and overall just helped me to move on completely from the past. If you’ve ever had any type of messy break-up, whether it’s with a boyfriend, girlfriend, or just a friend in general, this movie is perfect to really get you through it.
I’m not sure how old “classic” is, but my favorite classic 70’s movie will have to be The Breakfast Club for so many different reasons.
But if we’re talking about really really really classic movies, it’ll probably have to be Some Like it Hot and Black Orpheus. Those two movies are movies that my dad made me watch with him when I was younger and they’ve really stuck with me throughout the years.
“People sometimes sneer at those who run every day, claiming they’ll go to any length to live longer. But don’t think that’s the reason most people run. Most runners run not because they want to live longer, but because they want to live life to the fullest. If you’re going to while away the years, it’s far better to live them with clear goals and fully alive then in a fog, and I believe running helps you to do that. Exerting yourself to the fullest within your individual limits: that’s the essence of running, and a metaphor for life — and for me, for writing as whole. I believe many runners would agree”— Haruki Murakami What I talk about when I talk about running
I met June’s friend Nick, caught up on her road trip and hung out with my favorite sister-in-law Kellie! I love my church family(:
While I was waiting outside for my boss with my other co-workers, this lady and her son drove by, crying hysterically about how her father had had a stroke and how she needed money to go to Sacramento. All my co-workers didn’t hesitate to help, giving out change and dollar bills, and I was just standing there, with $14 and like $4 worth of quarters feeling really heavy in my bag. I thought back to my pastor’s sermon earlier that morning, about giving to those in need and comforting those around us who are in need of help. So I gave the woman everything in my wallet just because I felt like it was the right thing to do. Some people may think it’s stupid, as she could have been making up the story for money or something, but I truly believe that she needed help and giving her everything in my pocket was the right thing to do. I mean, I just got a job. I’m lucky. I’m blessed. Why not help those who really need a helping hang?
Anyways, I’M OFFICIALLY HIRED AT PINKBERRY! My schedule for this week is crazy: 4-10 training Sun, Mon, and Tues. 6-10 friends+family pre-opening on wednesday, and 6-7 for opening day on thursday. All of my co-workers are so sweet and bubbly, and I’m so excited to work and start earning money for the Summer!
I’m so blessed, and I’ll always try to keep that in mind. I hope everybody else had a great saturday as I did!
